RTSP can only be played on a Local Area Network (LAN) and not remotely.

Once RTSP is enabled, you'll need to generate a URL by setting a username and password, which should be between 4-10 characters and contain only letters and numbers. Click on Generate URL and the RTSP link will be generated.

To play the live video, you'll need to use a media player like VLC. Open VLC and click on ‘Media‘ in the top menu, then select ‘Open Network Stream’.

In the Network tab, enter the RTSP URL generated by the Wyze app, which should be in the following format: rtsp://username:password@camera_ip:554. Click ‘Open’ and you should now be able to view live video from your Wyze Cam v3 on your computer.

The stream may have up to a 10-second delay, so keep that in mind.

Viewing Cameras on PC

You can view your Wyze camera on your PC using a few different methods. One way is to use the Wyze app by installing an Android emulator on your computer, such as Bluestacks.

To do this, you'll need to download the Wyze APK and install it on your emulator. Once installed, you can use your Wyze camera on your computer just like on your phone.
