To disable app store availability for iPad via App Store Connect, you'll need to navigate to the "Pricing and Availability" section of your app's App Store Connect page.

Here, you can toggle off availability for the iPad by selecting the "iPad" platform and clicking on the toggle switch to the left of it.

You can also use the "Platforms" dropdown menu to select "iPad" and then click on the toggle switch to disable availability.

Make sure to save your changes by clicking on the "Save" button at the top right corner of the page.

Disabling App Store Availability

You can manage your app's availability on the App Store at any time in App Store Connect. To do this, select the app you want to view and click Pricing and Availability in the sidebar.

You'll then scroll to the App Availability section and click Manage. From there, you can select or deselect countries or regions to change your app's availability. Note that when you deselect a country or region where your app was available, the app will be removed from the App Store in that country or region.

Users who previously downloaded your app from the App Store in that country or region will continue to receive app updates, but if they delete the app, they won't be able to redownload it. The changes take effect immediately, but may require up to 24 hours to be visible to all users.

If you want to completely remove your app from the App Store in all countries or regions, you can do so by clicking Remove App From Sale at the bottom of the page. This will remove your app from the App Store within 24 hours.

Alternatively, you can use a restrictions profile to block Apple App Store downloads on corporate-owned iOS devices. This can be done by setting up a restrictions profile to block access to the App Store.

Another option is to use the Restricted Mode for Public iOS Applications setting in Workspace ONE UEM. This setting allows users to download public applications that are assigned through Intelligent Hub, but restricts access to the Apple App Store.

Managing App Store Downloads

You can block users from downloading apps from the Apple App Store on corporate-owned iOS devices. Two methods can be used to achieve this: a restrictions profile to block Apple App Store downloads, or restricting app installs to assigned public apps only.

A restrictions profile can be used to block Apple App Store downloads, but it's not necessary to implement this option if you're using the Restricted Mode for Public iOS Applications setting in Workspace ONE UEM.

This setting restricts users from downloading any application that has not been approved by your organization, and automatically restricts access to the Apple App Store.

To use this setting, you'll need to have iOS devices supervised by Apple Business Manager, as it won't be applied to unsupervised devices.

You can also restrict app installs to assigned public apps only, which can be done through a restrictions profile or by using the Restricted Mode for Public iOS Applications setting in Workspace ONE UEM.

Here are the two methods to block Apple App Store downloads:

  • A restrictions profile to block Apple App Store downloads.
  • Restrict the app installs to assigned public apps only.
