Google Assistant just got a whole lot more interesting! Celebrity voices for Google Assistant are now available, allowing you to interact with your virtual assistant in a more personalized way.

These new voices are the result of collaborations between Google and various celebrities, including Issa Rae, David Attenborough, and Anthony Hopkins. You can choose from a range of options to suit your personality and style.

To access these new voices, simply go to the Google Assistant settings on your device and select the "Assistant voice" option. From there, you can browse through the available options and pick the one that you like best.

Getting a New Voice

You can get a new celebrity voice for Google Assistant by following a few simple steps. The first celebrity voice to be released was John Legend's, which went live on April 3, 2019.

To activate John Legend's voice, you can say "Hey Google, talk like a Legend" or go to Settings and switch to his voice. This will give you access to his voice, which can sing "Happy Birthday" to you, give you information about the weather, and answer some questions you ask.

You can also access John Legend's voice through the Google Assistant app, by opening the app, tapping the three dots, and then tapping Settings. From there, you can select John Legend's voice as your preferred voice.

John Legend's voice will be available on all devices that have Google Assistant, including smartphones, Google Home, and devices that run iOS. However, it's worth noting that the feature is only available in the United States as of now, and John Legend's voice only talks in English.
