The two Public Enterprises, Post of Kosovo and Telecom of Kosovo, have a difficult business and financial situation, which was examined in detail during the meeting between Management and Unions.
In the past, these Public Enterprises provided dividends to the Shareholder, the Government of Kosovo, of over or around 500 million euros.
Management and Unions agreed to synchronize the execution of salaries for both Public Enterprises, so that if Telecom salaries are executed for each category on any date of the month, immediately the next day, they will be executed for Post of Kosovo employees.

Kosovo Post & Telecom
Kosovo Post & Telecom was created on December 21, 1965.
The postal and telecommunications authority of the Republic of Kosovo is Post and Telecom of Kosovo. It has four business units: "Post of Kosovo", "Telecom of Kosovo", "Vala 900" – the Mobile Operator and "DardaNet".
The four business units of PTK are licensed by the Telecommunication Regulation Authority of Kosovo. Vala 900 is the first licensed mobile operator in Kosovo.
It has operated since 2000, and is the largest mobile operator in Kosovo with approximately 700,000 customers.
