Using the TV App

Siri Convenience
You can use Siri to launch a stream of your favorite program with just a voice command. Simply say the name of the program you want to view, and the stream will automatically launch.
Siri can also help you decide what to watch. If you're unsure, just ask "What should I watch?" and you can even specify a genre if you have a particular preference.
If you need to cut off your viewing session, don't worry - Siri can help you pick up where you left off. Just let Siri know when you're ready to continue, and you'll be right back into the action.
Using Watch Now in iPhone TV App
The Watch Now feature of the TV app is where all of the shows you currently watch are stored. You can access it from the top of the page.
If you start watching any show or movie from a service that supports the TV app, it will appear in the Watch Now tab. This includes services like iTunes, Hulu, or CBS.

When you've finished an episode, the next available one will appear in your list. You can tap the title you want to watch and it will open into the appropriate app, such as the CBS app.
If you want to watch content in a different format than what the TV app suggests, tap the More button next to the play button. This ellipsis (...) will allow you to navigate to apps that don't support the TV app, like Netflix.
Using the Store in the TV App for iPhone
The Store tab in the TV app is a game-changer for "Cable cutters" like me, who don't need a cable subscription to watch TV shows and movies.
It spotlights all apps that currently support the TV app, making it easy to find new streaming services to download and install.

Tap Get to download and install the app you want to add to your iPhone or iPad.
Once you've launched a supported app, you'll be asked if you want to connect it to the TV app - just tap Continue to add it.
When you add a new app, additional content is added to the TV app, providing you with more suggestions for what to watch.
The Store tab also connects you to new and trending titles that you can purchase or rent from iTunes.
Managing the TV App
You can manage the apps connected to your TV app in Settings.
To do this, open Settings and tap TV. From here, you can turn Up Next on or off by flipping the switch.
If you want to control which apps are connected to your TV app, flip the switch next to each app's name to turn its connection on or off.
You can also delete information about what you've watched on all your devices by tapping Clear Play History.
