To view Sentry Mode events on your phone, you'll need to access the Tesla app. The app will display a list of events, including any incidents that were recorded while your car was in Sentry Mode.

Sentry Mode events can be filtered by date to help you quickly find specific events. You can also use the search function to look for events related to specific incidents.

The Tesla app will show you a preview of the event, including a thumbnail image and a brief description of what happened. This can give you a good idea of what was captured by the camera.

If you need to export or archive your Sentry Mode videos, you have two options. One is to remove the Sentry USB storage device and copy the files to where you want.

Having two USB storage devices on hand can help avoid having no active Sentry while you're copying files.

Alternatively, you can use a third-party device like a Roadie or build your own Raspberry Pi device, which can copy files wirelessly.

Filtering Sentry Mode Events

To filter Sentry Mode events on your phone, start by tapping on the three horizontal lines at the top left corner of the dashcam viewer. This will display a list of Sentry Mode and dashcam events.

You can then filter the events by tapping on 'Sentry' at the top of the list, which will limit videos to only Sentry Mode events. This makes it easier to find the specific event you're looking for.

To view a particular Sentry Mode event, tap on the video you wish to watch. As the video starts playing, a black timeline will appear at the bottom, featuring a prominent red dot that indicates the exact moment that triggered your Tesla to save the recording.

Managing Event Notifications

Managing Event Notifications is crucial to avoid clutter and focus on what matters.

You can silence or delete individual events, but this approach can be time-consuming and may not be practical for frequent notifications.

Sentry Mode events can be filtered by type, such as motion or object detection, to reduce the number of notifications.

For example, if you're not interested in receiving notifications for motion events, you can simply filter them out.

Filtering by type can be done in the Event Settings menu.

However, this may not be sufficient for users with specific needs, such as receiving notifications for certain types of objects, like people or vehicles.
