Group texts going to email can be a real game-changer for staying connected with friends and family. This feature allows you to receive group text messages as emails, making it easier to keep track of conversations and respond at your own pace.

If you're wondering why group texts are going to email, it's because some carriers and messaging apps have implemented this feature to help users manage their messages more efficiently. This means you can receive group texts as emails, even if the sender doesn't have the same email address.

Receiving group texts as emails can be especially helpful if you're not always glued to your phone or prefer to respond to messages in a more leisurely way. Some carriers, like AT&T, have even made it possible to send group texts to email addresses, making it a convenient way to stay connected with others.

Group Text Email Options

You can send email messages to specific groups or individuals using the WorkChat or Message Staff feature. To do this, click Send Email/TeamTxt, then click the Email tab within the pop-up.

By default, the recipient field is set to "All/Everyone", but you can type in a single recipient's name or select from the suggestions drop-down to send a message to specific users. You can also type the name of a Position or Schedule to target all users in a specific group.

To send a message, enter the subject and message fields, and then click Send Message. Make sure to include your name in the message if you want to keep a copy of it in your own email inbox.

Sending to Email

Sending to Email is a convenient option in WorkChat that allows you to send email messages to your team members. To access this feature, click on WorkChat or Message Staff on the navigation bar.

Click on Send Email/TeamTxt, and then select the Email tab within the pop-up. You can enter the recipients by typing in a single name or selecting from the suggestions drop-down.

By default, the field is set to “All/Everyone”, but you can target specific users by typing in a single recipient’s name or selecting the name from the suggestions drop-down. Alternatively, you can type the name of a Position or Schedule to target all users in a specific group.

Make sure to fill in the subject and message fields before clicking Send Message, as you won't be able to send the message otherwise.

Group Message Layout Summary

You can send group messages to up to 25,000 contacts per user, per month with Nimble's Group Messaging feature.

The group message layout offers a range of options, including adding recipients, choosing a sending email address, and composing a new message or using a custom template.

You can also add merge tags, an unsubscribe link, and customize fonts, making it easy to tailor your message to your audience.

To send a message, simply click "Send message to list" and track your messages for opens and clicks, or send a test message to yourself if you want to see how it looks first.

You have the option to not track the message if you prefer.
