Host Management & Co-Hosts
As the host of a Google Meet, you have the power to control the meeting and manage participation. You can turn on Host management to moderate the meeting and control who can join in.
To access Host controls, join a meeting and click on the three dots at the bottom right of the screen.

If you're managing someone else's calendar, they'll be the meeting host, even if you scheduled the meeting on their calendar. But if you don't have permission to make changes to their events, you can create the event from your own calendar and add them as a co-host.
To make someone a co-host, you need to have been given co-host privileges, which can include people without UIndy accounts.
