To change the access type, open your UIndy Google Calendar, create a new Event, click Video Call Options, and scroll down to Meeting Access.

  1. Click the radio button next to Open, Trusted, or Restricted.
  2. Be aware that Open meetings are open to the public and could mean disruptive attendees.

For existing meetings with Quick Access Off, meetings are set to Restricted.

To join a meeting, participants can click the link to join from their browser or the Google Meet app – no additional downloads required.

Invite Participants

Inviting participants to a Google Instant Meeting is a breeze. Just head to the "Add Guests" section.

To add guests, simply type in their email addresses. They'll receive a calendar invite with all the meeting details.

To find the section where you can schedule and link Google Meet, start by looking for the Google Meet section on the left sidebar of your Google account. It's usually located at the bottom on mobile devices.

You'll see two options within the Google Meet section: New Meeting and Join a Meeting. Click New Meeting to start one instantly.
