If you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, you might have noticed that it comes with two messaging apps pre-installed: the default Messages app and the Samsung Messages app.
The default Messages app is a standard Android messaging app that allows you to send texts, make voice and video calls, and even send multimedia messages.
The Samsung Messages app, on the other hand, offers some additional features, such as the ability to send messages to multiple recipients at once.
One key difference between the two apps is that the Samsung Messages app allows you to send messages to non-Samsung phones, whereas the default Messages app only works between Samsung phones.

- Tap Install on the dialog box to install another instance of the app.
- Tap Confirm to agree to Samsung's terms of use and install the app.

Once you've installed the second instance of the app, you can set up a secondary account on the same service. Tap the cloned app to get started, and you'll see the indent with the two rings and the orange accent at the bottom of the app icon.
Disable Dual on Samsung Phone
Disabling Dual Messenger on Samsung Phone is a straightforward process. If you no longer intend to use the secondary app, you can simply turn off the switch next to the cloned app and tap Uninstall to confirm.
You can choose to keep or remove the app data while removing the cloned version of the app. Removing the cloned app won't affect the main or primary app in any way.
If you have cloned multiple messaging apps, you can delete all of them at once by tapping the three-dot menu icon in the top right and selecting Delete all my data.
Removing the main app will also remove the cloned app from your phone because Dual Messenger clones your existing apps.
