T-Mobile's innovative Starlink offer is a game-changer for rural internet users. This service provides high-speed internet connectivity to areas where traditional internet service providers struggle to reach.

T-Mobile has partnered with SpaceX to bring Starlink to their network, leveraging the satellite internet technology to bridge the digital divide. This collaboration has enabled T-Mobile to offer internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps in areas where traditional internet is not available.

The Starlink offer is designed to be cost-effective, with plans starting at $50 per month. This is a significant improvement over traditional satellite internet plans, which can cost upwards of $100 per month.

T-Mobile is partnering with SpaceX to offer a satellite-based service called Starlink, which aims to provide coverage to areas not reached by traditional cell towers.

The service is currently in a free beta program, and full service is set to launch in July.

T-Mobile customers with compatible devices can register for the beta program, with priority given to first responders.

The technology utilizes Starlink's low-earth orbit satellites, integrated with T-Mobile's terrestrial network, to provide a user-friendly experience.

Over 500,000 square miles of the US currently lack cell coverage, which Starlink aims to cover.

The service is available to customers of any wireless carrier, not just T-Mobile, and can be accessed through digital sim cards, called eSIMs.

The beta program is free until it exits beta in July, and when the service officially launches, it will be included in the cost of T-Mobile's premium plan Go5G Next.

Non-T-Mobile subscribers can add the satellite-based service to any plan for $15/month, or purchase it for $20/month.

Here are the approved devices for the Starlink service:

  • iPhone 14 and later models
  • Google Pixel 9
  • Motorola 2024
  • Samsung Galaxy models
  • REVVL 7
