Sending Pictures

Sending pictures with T-Mobile's picture messaging service, MMS, can be a bit tricky. MMS is limited to 10 recipients per message.

The size of the picture you send also matters. For T-Mobile, the maximum sending size is 1MB, while the maximum receiving size is 3MB. Additionally, the resolution should be under 3072 x 3072 pixels.

If you're trying to send a larger picture, be aware that MMS may automatically resize it when sent, but it may still be too large. This can cause delays or even prevent the picture from being delivered.

To troubleshoot issues, try moving the SIM card to another T-Mobile device and see if you can send the picture from that device. This can help determine if the problem is with your device or the network.

Messaging Settings

Messaging Settings can be a bit tricky, but don't worry, I've got you covered. The Access Point Name (APN) for internet and picture messaging on T-Mobile is fast.t-mobile.com.

To send picture messages, you'll also need to set up your MMSC Server to http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc. If you're using a T-Mobile SIM card, these settings should work for you.

If you're having trouble sending picture messages, try checking your APN settings again. If tmus doesn't work, you can also try fast.t-mobile.com.

Test sending one picture to one recipient

Test sending one picture to one recipient. MMS is limited to 10 recipients per message.

If you're trying to send a picture to just one person, be aware that MMS can take longer to get to your mobile device than a text. This is because networks may have restrictions on the size of MMS messages.

For T-Mobile specifically, the max sending size is 1MB, 3 MB for receiving, and under 3072 x 3072 resolution. If your picture is too large, it may be automatically resized when sent, but it could still be too big.

To troubleshoot any issues, try moving the SIM card to another T-Mobile device and see if you can send the picture from that device. If it works, the problem might be with your current device.

The APN settings for T-Mobile's GSM SIM card are sometimes found at tmus or fast.t-mobile.com.

Restarting your phone and resetting the network settings can also resolve the issue.

It's worth noting that disabling iMessage can help, as it did for one person who spent a week on the phone with Q-LINK tech support.

If you're still having trouble, it might be worth checking if your data connection is strong - a weak connection can prevent MMS messages from sending.

You can also try turning on the MMS button in the Messages app, but be aware that this person had to do that and still couldn't send MMS messages.
