The Star One C3 satellite was launched on July 28, 2022, from the Guiana Space Centre in French Guiana. It was carried into space by an Ariane 5 rocket.

Launch Details

The Star One C3 was launched from the base of Kourou, in the Guiana French, by a foguete from the French company Arianespace.

The new satélite was manufactured by the American company Orbital Sciences Corporation and weighs around 3 toneladas.

The launch was part of a US$260 million investment by the Embratel company to expand its telecomunicações capacity, aiming to meet the demands of the Pré-Sal and Olimpíadas.
