Understanding Messages
A group message is essentially a chat room with three or more participants.
The Samsung Messages app automatically opts for MMS in group chats, enabling multimedia sharing and conversations with multiple contacts.
You can distinguish MMS from SMS in the app by looking for "MMS" next to or beneath group messages, which indicates their multimedia capability.
Group messages encompass two main types: MMS and SMS.

If you need to make changes, open the group chat and tap the group's name to access the add/remove recipients feature.
You can't remove yourself from a group others created, so you'll need to consider other options if you want to leave a group.
To delete the chat, you'll need to take that step, or you can mute notifications to reduce your involvement.
