If Ok Google cut off your phone, don't panic. This can be a frustrating experience, but there are steps you can take to resolve the issue.

First, check your phone's settings to see if you've accidentally enabled the "Do Not Disturb" mode or a similar feature. This can cause Ok Google to stop responding.

Try restarting your phone to see if that resolves the issue. Sometimes, a simple reboot can get things back on track.

If restarting doesn't work, check your internet connection to ensure it's stable and working properly. A weak or unstable connection can prevent Ok Google from functioning correctly.

Disabling Google Assistant

Disabling Google Assistant is a straightforward process that can be completed in just a few steps.

To start, you'll need to open your phone's Settings app. From there, select Google > Account Services > Search, Assistant & Voice.

This will take you to a page where you can manage various Google services, including the Google Assistant. To turn off the Google Assistant, tap on the Google Assistant slider to turn it off.

You'll soon be able to power off your Android phone with your voice, thanks to the Google Assistant.

With Android 12, you'll be able to say something like "Power off" to the Google Assistant to turn your device off.

Currently, the Google Assistant either tells you that power controls are not available or walks you through the correct way to shut your phone off.

You'll also be able to press Power and Volume Up at the same time to access the power menu, although this feature isn't working yet as of Android 12 Beta 1.

This new feature will be available on Android 12, and it's not clear if it will be exclusive to Google Pixel phones.
