GitHub Codespaces and Devcontainer are a powerful combination that allows you to develop and test Nextcloud applications in a seamless and efficient way.

To get started, simply open the repository in VS Code and the dev container will automatically start. This container will then install all dependencies and build the app.

You can then access Nextcloud on a port exposed by the container. To find out which port, you can refer to the container's configuration.

Performance Limitations

Nextcloud Deck is still in its early stages and isn't yet ready for heavy use.

If you have a large number of boards, cards, and attachments, you'll start to notice performance issues. A user with access to 13 boards, each with 100 cards, and each card with 5 attachments, would generate 6500 database queries.

This can significantly increase page loading times, making it frustrating to use. Improvements on the Nextcloud server and Deck itself are in the works to address this issue.
