Google Assistant is a digital assistant that has consistently shown high accuracy in understanding and answering questions. It understood a full 100% of the questions asked in the Loup Ventures study, outperforming both Alexa and Siri.
The accuracy of the responses, however, is where the differences between the three digital assistants emerge. Google Assistant answered 92.9% of questions correctly, compared to Siri at 83.1% and Alexa at 79.8%.
The study categorized the queries into five different types: Command, Commerce, Information, Local, and Navigation. Google Assistant excelled in four out of these five categories.
