The green tint is often described as a dim glow that appears at reduced brightness levels with black backgrounds, but some users have reported it can be severe.

The issue is not just limited to the iPhone 12, but also affects the iPhone 12 Pro, with some users confirming the problem is fixed after updating to iOS 14.5 beta 2.

Some users have reported that the green tint is still visible, but it's now at a point where it's barely noticeable, especially in complete darkness.

Apple has told its Authorized Service Providers to avoid servicing affected iPhones, but now that a fix is available, you can try updating to iOS 14.5 beta 2 to see if it resolves the issue for you.
