The iPhone 7 is a beast of a phone, and there's a lot to love about it. It's water and dust resistant, so you can take it with you on all your adventures without worrying about it getting damaged.

One of the most significant changes in the iPhone 7 is the removal of the headphone jack. This means you'll need to use wireless headphones or an adapter to listen to music.

The iPhone 7 also has a dual-lens camera, which allows for some amazing depth effects and portrait mode shots. I've personally taken some incredible photos with my iPhone 7, and I'm sure you will too.

With the iPhone 7, you can take 4K video and record up to 1080p at 240fps for some smooth slow-motion footage. This is perfect for capturing those special moments and making them look amazing.

Home Button and Haptics

The Home button on the iPhone 7 is a capacitive sensor-driven disc that works like the touchscreen, but thanks to Apple's Taptic Engine, it feels like a button when you press it.

You can change the feel of the artificial click by going to Settings > General > Home Button, where you'll find three options to pick from.

The new Home button requires skin contact, which means it won't work properly while wearing non-capacitative gloves or with wet fingers.

You can toggle the System Haptics off if you don't like the constant vibrations, by going to Settings > Sounds & Haptics and flipping the switch.

The Home button also has a feature called Rest Finger to Open, which allows you to unlock your phone with just a light touch of your fingerprint.

To enable this feature, go into your Settings, then General, and then Accessibility, and toggle the switch marked Rest Finger to Open.

If you're in a hurry, you can even double-tap quickly to unlock your phone, but be careful not to pause too long between each tap, or iOS will think you're trying to add two spaces.
