How Instagram Shows Your Friends
Instagram is showing your friends which Reels you've liked. This feature is intended to encourage more engagement on Instagram Reels.
To see which Reels your friends have liked, follow these steps:
- Open the Reels Tab.
- In the top right corner, you’ll see an icon showing some of your friends. Tap on it.
- This will take you to a dedicated feed showcasing Reels that your friends have liked or added a note to.
- You can see which friends have liked each Reel and tap on their profiles to start a conversation directly.
You might see some of your friends' profile photos with little hearts in the corner of their images in the Reels tab. This is a sign that they've liked the Reel.
Be Careful What You Like on Reels
Instagram is making it easier to see what your friends have liked on the platform. Now, the top-right corner of the Reels tab displays a “Friends” section featuring their profile photos and pink hearts.
