Applying for IP Address and ASN
You can apply for IP Address and ASN through IRINN, which provides IPv4 & IPv6 and ASN (Autonomous System Number) services.
IRINN's main purpose is to offer allocation and registration services for IPv4 & IPv6 addresses, Autonomous System or AS numbers, and related Whois Database for IP address look-up and reverse DNS delegation.

IRINN has been running since the launch of the new National Internet Registry for India, following a successful collaboration between APNIC and the Government of India.
APNIC has over 300 members locally, mostly Internet Services Providers and Telecommunication Communications companies.
The NIR will streamline access to resources for current or future network administrators, assisting the Indian Internet that is currently experiencing a period of extraordinary growth.
IRINN is run by the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) and serves ISPs within the country that wish to sign up.
The market in India is big enough to support diversity, ensuring better services and lower prices for all Indians, as Director General of APNIC, Paul Wilson, commented.
APNIC has allocated over 6 million Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) addresses in 2011.

India and APNIC Agree on National Internet Registry
India and APNIC have reached an agreement on a National Internet Registry, which will streamline access to resources for network administrators and help the Indian Internet during its period of extraordinary growth.
The new registry will be run by the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) and serve ISPs within the country that wish to sign up.
APNIC staff have been sharing their expertise with NIXI to prepare for the launch, and NIXI officials have put together an impressive technical installation.
The NIR will provide a better experience for local networks served by both APNIC and IRINN.
APNIC Executive Council Chairman, Akinori Maemura, is happy with the positive conclusion of the talks and thanks the NIXI team for their hard work.

Director General of APNIC, Paul Wilson, welcomes the new National Internet Registry in India to the APNIC community and hopes it will lead to more Internet Services Providers in India.

IP Address and Fees
IRINN is the main provider of IP Address and ASN in India.
IRINN provides IP Address, including IPv4 and IPv6, and Autonomous System Number (ASN).
You can apply for IP Address and ASN through IRINN's online portal.

IRINN charges a One Time Affiliation Fee of 27,500 INR + Applicable Taxes.
The annual membership fee for IPv4 is 27,500 INR + Applicable Taxes for a /24 block, and 37,125 INR + Applicable Taxes for a /23 block.
For IPv6, the annual membership fee is 24,198.9 INR + Applicable Taxes for a /48 block, and 44,102.49 INR + Applicable Taxes for a /32 block.
IRINN's fee structure for IP Address and ASN was updated on 1 January 2022.
