Users reported issues with both the on-demand and live TV sides of the service across multiple devices.

Hulu's technical support site displayed a message saying, "Playback unavailable? We’re investigating the issue with the highest priority and hope to have things back up and running soon. Thanks for your patience!"

Disney Streaming Services, which operates Hulu, confirmed the issue had been resolved by 10:45 p.m. ET, but didn't comment on whether customers would be eligible for refunds.

Users who tried to access Hulu's main page received an error message that said, "We’ll be back. This page is temporarily unavailable. Please try refreshing the page or go back to the homepage."

Some connected TV platforms displayed an error message when launching the Hulu app, saying, "Sorry. Hulu was unable to start. Please exit and try again."
