Disabling iMessage on your iPhone can be a bit tricky, but don't worry, we've got you covered.

To start, you'll need to go to your iPhone's Settings app, which is usually found on the home screen.

From there, tap on "Messages" to access the iMessage settings.

You can also use the Search function to quickly find the Messages app.

Tap on "Send & Receive" to view your iMessage settings.

Here, you'll see your phone number and email address associated with iMessage.

You can toggle off the switch next to your phone number to disable iMessage.

Note that this will not delete any existing iMessage conversations, but it will prevent new ones from being sent or received.

You can also remove your email address from the list by tapping on it and selecting "Remove This Email Address"

Deregistering iMessage

Deregistering iMessage from Apple's website is a viable option if you're unable to disable it on your iPhone or prefer not to erase your phone's data. You can do this by following these steps.

To deregister iMessage, you'll need to sign in to your Apple account on a computer or another device. This is the same process mentioned in example 3.

To disable iMessage on your iPhone, you can follow a few simple steps. Open the Settings app and tap Messages, then toggle iMessage off. This will stop iMessage from sending and receiving messages on your iPhone.

Alternatively, if you have no other iOS devices and want to completely delink from iMessage, you can sign out of your account. To do this, open the Settings app, tap Messages, tap Send & Receive, tap on your Apple ID, and then tap Sign Out from the pop-up menu.

It's worth noting that disabling iMessage will not delete any of your stored data, but it will prevent new messages from being sent and received through iMessage.
