Disable Chat Heads on Facebook
To disable chat heads on Facebook, you'll need to launch the Facebook Messenger app, not the main Facebook app.
The chat heads look like avatars that appear on your homescreen when you receive a message. They can be annoying, especially if you're not used to them.
To get rid of a chat head that's popped up, simply drag it down to the bottom of the screen where an X in a circle will appear.
