If you're an iPhone user, you might have noticed that by default, your phone sends photos in HEIC format, which can cause issues when sharing with non-iPhone users. This is because HEIC is a newer format that iPhone uses to save storage space.
To send a photo as a JPEG from your iPhone, you need to change the format to JPEG, which is a more universally accepted format. This can be done by going to Settings > Camera > Formats, and selecting Most Compatible.
Selecting Most Compatible will ensure that your iPhone saves photos in JPEG format by default. This setting will also apply to any photos you take in the future.
