Taking a screenshot on your Samsung tablet is easier than you think. You can do it with or without the buttons, and we'll show you how.

The first method to take a screenshot on your Samsung tablet is by using the power and volume down buttons simultaneously. This method works on most Samsung tablets, including the Galaxy Tab series.

The power and volume down buttons are usually located on the right side of your tablet, and you need to press them together for about a second to capture the screen.

Capturing Screenshots

To take a screenshot on your Samsung tablet, press the Power and Volume Down button at the same time. If you can't use the physical buttons, enable "Palm swipe to capture" in your settings.

Pressing and holding the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time will prompt your tablet to take a screenshot after a second. This method works on all Samsung tablets.

Samsung Tablets with S-Pen

If you've got a Samsung tablet with an S-Pen, you're in luck! You can easily snap a screenshot using your S-Pen with features called Screen Write and Screen Select.

The Screen Write option is super handy for highlighting details in a screenshot, which I can attest to since I've used it on my Galaxy Note 10 Lite smartphone.

To take a screenshot, go to the screen you want to capture, take out your S-Pen, and tap on Screen Write or Select Write from the options that show up on the screen.

The Screen Select option lets you take a screenshot of a selected area, saving you the trouble of cropping the screenshot in the gallery.
