How to Save Pictures from Google on Samsung Tablet

Saving pictures from Google on your Samsung tablet is easier than you think. You can use the Google Photos app to download and save images.

First, make sure you have the Google Photos app installed on your tablet. You can find it in the Samsung Galaxy Store or Google Play Store.

To save pictures, open the Google Photos app and sign in with your Google account. This will sync your photos across all your devices.

Next, select the pictures you want to save by tapping on them. You can also use the search bar to find specific images.

Backing Up Photos

Backing up your photos is a great way to ensure they're safe and secure. You can manually back up photos and videos on your Samsung tablet by opening the Google Photos app.

To do this, sign in to your Google Account. This will allow you to access your photos and videos. If you're already signed in, you're good to go.

Once you've opened the Google Photos app and signed in, you can open a photo or video to back it up. Tap Back up now to start the process.

If you don't have enough storage to back up a single photo, a badge will show "Not enough storage to back up." You can try backing up multiple photos at once to free up space.

To back up multiple photos or videos, touch and hold the photos or videos you want to back up, and then tap Back up.

Transferring Photos

Transferring photos from Google to your Samsung tablet is a breeze. You can use the Google Photos app to transfer your photos to the Gallery on your tablet.

To start, open Google Photos on your tablet and sign in to your Google account. You can then choose one photo or multiple photos to transfer by long pressing the images for selecting.

Tap on three vertical dots to see different options for sharing the images, and then select the option to save the photos to your device. This will transfer the photos from Google Photos to your tablet's Gallery.

Alternatively, you can use the Files by Google app to access your Google Drive photos and download them to your tablet. This app allows you to manage and download your files from both your device's internal storage and cloud storage services.

Here are the steps to download all Google Drive photos to your Android device via Files by Google:

  • Launch the Files by Google app and sign in to your Google account
  • Select the image folders you want to download from Google Drive to your tablet
  • Click on Options and Download to transfer the photos to your device

You can also use the My Files app on your tablet to download all Google Drive photos at once. To do this:

  • Open My Files on your tablet and sign in to your Google account
  • Select the folder that contains all your Google Photos and click on Move at the bottom of the screen
  • Go back to the My Files Home Page and click on Internal Storage to move the selected pictures to your tablet's internal storage from Google Drive

Downloading from Google Drive

You can download pictures from Google Drive to your Samsung tablet using the Google Drive app. Simply open Google Drive on your tablet and sign in to your Google Account.

To download all the pictures at once, go to the folder containing the pictures you want to download, tap and hold to select multiple folders, and then click on Options at the top-right corner of your screen and select Download.

Alternatively, you can use the Files by Google app to access your Google Drive photos and download them from there. This app is available for download from the Google Play Store.

To use the Files by Google app, launch the app, scroll down to the Storage Devices tab, select Other Storage, and click on Google Drive. You'll be redirected to your Google Drive folders, so sign in to Google Drive.

Once you've signed in, select the image folders you want to download and click on Options and Download. This will automatically download all the selected pictures to your Samsung tablet from your Google Drive folder.

If you find it difficult to download all Google photos to your tablet via Google Drive, you can also use the My Files app to download all Google Drive photos at once. To do this, open My Files on your device, click on Google Drive, sign in to your Google Account, and wait for the app to load the storage info.

Next, My Files will display all the folders and files in Google Drive. Select the folder that contains all your Google Photos and click on Move at the bottom of the screen. Then, go back to the My Files Home Page, click on Internal Storage, and tap on Move Here at the bottom right of your screen to move the selected pictures to your tablet's internal storage from Google Drive.
