Changing your Discord server name is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. First, you need to be the server owner or have the "Manage Server" permission.

To start, click on the server name at the top of the screen, then select "Edit Server" from the dropdown menu. This will take you to the server settings page.

From here, you can click on the "Server Name" field and type in your new server name. Make sure it's something you'll be happy with for a while, as changing it again will require going through the same process.

How To Change

To change the name of your Discord server, start by opening the Discord app on your desktop and navigating to your server, then click the downward arrow next to your server name.

From the dropdown menu, click Server Settings. This will open a window with various options for customizing your server.

Choosing a New Name

Keep it short and sweet: Choose a server name that is short and easy to remember. A good rule of thumb is to keep it under 5 words.

Make it unique: A unique server name will make it easier for users to find your server. Avoid using generic names that are easily confused with other servers.

Consider your server's purpose: Your server name should reflect the purpose of your server. For example, if you're running a gaming server, choose a name that relates to the games you play.

Avoid using all caps: Capitalizing the first letter of each word can make your server name easier to read. However, avoid using all caps, as it can be seen as shouting and may be off-putting to users.
