Adding a link to a Facebook post can be a bit tricky, but don't worry, I've got you covered.
To add a link to a Facebook post on desktop, you can simply click on the "What's on your mind?" box at the top of the page and type in the link you want to share.
The link will automatically be formatted with a title and a preview image, if available.
You can also add a link to a Facebook post by clicking on the "Link" button below the post, which is only visible if you're the post creator.
Adding a Link
To add a link to your Facebook post, you need to copy the address of your website and paste it into the post. Make sure to include the "https://" at the beginning of the link, as this is required for Square links.
You can copy the address by opening your website in a new browser tab and copying the URL. This will save you from typos and forgetting the "https://" part.
If you're using a Square link, sharing it to Facebook will make it appear as a clickable link.

Creating a Photo Post
The Photo post method is the one I use most because I have the most control over what is displayed.
It's best to use a photo related to the topic of the web page you're linking to.
The photo doesn't have to be one from the web page it is linking to, although it's a good idea if it's related.
To ensure the link is always visible, it's essential to display it at the top of the post.
If the link is below the description text, it may not be displayed without clicking on the ... See more link when there is a lot of text to display.
Swapping the URL and the description text around is a great way to display the link at the top, as shown in a Facebook photo post screenshot.
