To get started with Google Assistant on your Samsung device, ensure that your device is running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later. This is the minimum requirement for Google Assistant to function.

Google Assistant can be accessed through the Google app or by long-pressing the Home button on your Samsung device. This will open the Google Assistant interface, where you can start giving voice commands or interacting with the virtual assistant.

Before you can use Google Assistant, you need to set it up on your Samsung device. This involves enabling the Google Assistant feature in your device's settings. To do this, go to Settings > Voice, then toggle the switch next to "Google Assistant" to the "On" position.

If you're prompted, don't worry, it's just the assistant asking to be trained to recognize your voice. This is a normal step in the process. The training process is quick and easy, and it will make sure Google Assistant can understand you properly.

Once you've enabled Google Assistant and trained it to recognize your voice, you'll be able to say "Hey Google" from any screen, even when your phone is locked. This is a convenient feature that lets you access Google Assistant without having to unlock your phone first.
