Some enterprising individuals are offering to buy the password to access the archive, but it's likely that the fan community will crack it on their own over time.

Users have already shared a screenshot of the code, which mentions skateboards as both transport and potential weapons in the game.

This detail was confirmed by Obbe Vermeij, one of the developers of GTA San Andreas, who revealed that the mechanics were cut from the final version of the game.

The GTA San Andreas code from the Definitive Edition leaked online in 2021, but only mission-related content was made available to fans.

The original San Andreas source code was reportedly already circulating in private circles, but it has only recently become publicly available.

About the Project

The goal of the gtasa-reversed project is to reverse Grand Theft Auto San Andreas completely, and to rewrite and document every function.

Building this project will result in a DLL file that can be injected into GTA:SA using any ASI loader out there, allowing the reversed code to take effect in the game.

The DLL file will replace the ingame functions with the reversed ones, making any changes to the reversed code reflect in the game.

This process will continue until the entire game is reversed, at which point a standalone executable can be compiled.
