Google Photo Lens is a game-changer for visual search on your phone. It uses AI to identify objects in your photos and videos, allowing you to search for similar images across the web.
With Google Photo Lens, you can point your camera at a product, and it will instantly identify the item and show you relevant information, such as prices and reviews. This feature is available on Android and iOS devices.
Google Photo Lens can also recognize landmarks, buildings, and even artwork.

Using Google Lens
You can access Google Lens through the Google Photos app on your Android phone or iPhone/iPad.
To use Google Lens, snap a photo of whatever you want to identify, or select an image from your camera roll.
Open the Google Photos app, select the relevant photo, and then tap the Google Lens icon.
You'll be able to identify locations, including screenshots from Google Street View, and people, such as friends and family in your own photos, or famous people like Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
Some of your options will be limited on an iPhone or iPad, for instance, you won't be able to identify products via their barcodes.
The user experience will be mostly the same for Android and iOS users.

Android Camera App Features
If you have a Pixel phone, you can use the default Camera app to scan QR codes and documents. These features are powered by Google Lens and enabled by default under Settings.
The Camera app detects a document and offers an option to scan it. It also provides editing tools such as crop and rotate, filters, clean, and more to get the job done.
Pixel phones have a Google Lens icon in the persistent search bar at the bottom of the home screen.
