Customization Options
One UI 7 offers a range of customization options that let you tailor the look and feel of your Galaxy S25 to your liking. You can now split the notification and Quick Settings panels into two, giving you more flexibility.
The Quick Settings panel has been revamped with a volume control bar below the tiles for easy one-hand access. This makes it simple to adjust the volume without having to navigate through the panel.
You can also move every button and toggle in the Quick Settings panel around as you like, giving you complete control over the layout. I found this feature to be particularly useful for customizing the panel to fit my needs.

Adjust Font Size and Screen Zoom
The base Samsung Galaxy S25's UI feels like it's tuned for an even smaller display, with text that's really large and excessive padding around touch targets.
You can make things feel more spacious by adjusting the font size and screen zoom. To do this, head to Settings > Display > Font size and style, and Settings > Display > Screen zoom, and set each slider one tick to the left.
This small tweak can make a big difference, especially on a 6.2-inch display. It's surprising how much of a difference a single notch can make.

Revamped Camera App

The revamped Camera app in One UI 7 is a game-changer for Samsung users. It's been reorganized to make it simpler and easier to use.
One of the key changes is that all the main camera controls are now at the bottom, tucked into an expandable menu. This makes it much easier to access the features you need with one hand.
The default modes you'll see are Portrait, Photo, and Video, with other modes accessible from the More tab. This keeps the interface clutter-free and easy to navigate.
To access other camera controls like Settings, flash, timer, ratio, and resolution, you can tap a menu button next to the zoom toggles. This menu consolidates nearly all the options previously in the top bar in One UI 6.
The top bar now only includes toggles for flash, resolution, and motion photos. This streamlined approach makes it easier to find what you need quickly.

App Drawer and Animations
The App Drawer and Animations in the Galaxy S25's One UI 7 are a welcome change. You can now use a vertical app drawer, a feature previously only available through a Good Lock module.
To access the vertical app drawer, you'll need to sort your apps alphabetically, and if you use the custom order option, the launcher will switch to a vertical layout. This is a nice usability change that's been a long time coming.
The new system animations in One UI 7 are also smoother and more polished, adding a touch of cohesion to the overall UI. The revamped animations might not seem like a big deal at first, but they make a noticeable impact once you start using the phone.
