Community Involvement was a key aspect of the Fernsehturm Dresden project. The city council made sure to engage with the community by hosting an Einwohnerversammlung, or resident's meeting, where people could share their thoughts and ideas.

The online participation process was launched on June 23rd and ran until July 19th, allowing interested individuals to submit suggestions and feedback about the Verkehrs- und Mobilitätskonzept, or traffic and mobility concept.

People could also provide feedback in person at the Stadtbezirksamt Loschwitz or the Verwaltungsstelle Schönfeld-Weißig.
