iPhones have a feature called "Secure Enclave" that stores sensitive information, such as passwords and fingerprints, in a highly secure environment.
This Secure Enclave is a dedicated chip that's separate from the main processor, making it virtually impossible to access without the correct credentials.
You can set up a secure folder on your iPhone by using the "Files" app and creating a new folder, which can be protected with a password or biometric authentication.
By default, your iPhone has a feature called "Face ID" or "Touch ID" that allows you to unlock your device and access sensitive information with just a glance or a touch.

Secure Folder on iPhone
With iOS 16, your iPhone will automatically lock the Hidden and Recently Deleted albums using Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. This means you can finally keep your sensitive files out of reach.
The good news is that these folders are locked by default, but the bad news is that anyone who knows your iPhone passcode can still access them. This might not be the most secure solution, but it's a start.
You can also use third-party apps like Secure Vault and UPDF to store and lock your documents with a custom passcode. These apps do a great job of keeping your files safe.
To use these apps, you'll need to download them from the App Store and follow the instructions to create a new folder and lock your documents. For example, you can use Secure Vault to create a new folder and then tap the plus button to add documents to it.
