To get started with Jamendo, simply open a free account and select the 'Jamendo Music' option – not 'Jamendo Licensing', which is for commercial use.

BeatStars, on the other hand, requires you to open an account before downloading free tracks, but you can still browse the site for a look around first.

DJ Rainflow is a free WordPress theme specifically designed for DJs, music producers, and musicians, offering a range of customization options and premade pages to showcase your music and events.

Here's a quick rundown of the free DJ website options mentioned:

Ultimately, these options can help you get started with building a professional-looking website without spending a dime.

If you're looking for a DJ website template, you have plenty of options to choose from. You can find free templates that don't offer as many features as premium options, but are a great way to get started if you're on a budget.

ThemeForest has hundreds of music website templates to explore, including the IronBand template, which is perfect for DJs, bands, and musicians. It includes all major features like events and gigs, HTML5 audio player, and social media integration.

Software and Equipment

Rekordbox is a reliable and highly performant free DJ software option that I've used as my main live DJing software app for years.

The free version of rekordbox boasts even more features, stability, and performance improvements with the recent release of rekordbox v7, as well as a refined UI that looks smooth and sharp.

You may need a hardware device to unlock most features, but the free version has far less limits than the other options.

Native Instrument's Traktor DJ 3 has a pretty good demo, but it has a time limit - it shuts off after 30 minutes, making it not viable for a party.

Traktor has a bunch of cool features, and I find it to be one of the best in terms of sensitivity and responsiveness, both in terms of the UI and when used with a controller.

Mixxx Download Here

It's highly moddable and customizable, which is super competitive with premium apps. I used Mixxx before I bought a proper DJ controller, and it's 100% free - there isn't even a paid version.

Mixxx lets you map controls however you want, which means you can create your own crazy keyboard DJing setup, or even use any random old MIDI controllers to mix with. This has been a lifesaver for me in a pinch.

I've rigged up some crazy configurations to use Mixxx for DJing, and it's not ideal, but it gets the job done.

A responsive theme is a must for your DJ website, especially considering over half of the world listens to music on their mobile phones. This means your website should be easy to use on all kinds of devices.

A lightweight and fast-loading website is crucial, as image, audio, and video files can weigh a lot and slow down your site.
