Discord bots that delete messages are a game-changer for keeping your chat clean.

These bots can automatically remove messages that contain certain keywords, phrases, or even entire conversations that go off-topic. Some bots can even delete messages that are a certain age or older.

Having a clean chat is essential for maintaining a positive and productive community. By using a Discord bot that deletes messages, you can create a more organized and respectful environment for your members.

AutoDelete Discord Bot is one of the best options for keeping your server clean, offering 8 preset filters to ensure the best experience.

You can set up to 3 Cleaner Channels, each with its own settings and filters. This means you can customize the bot's behavior to suit your specific needs.

AutoDelete also allows you to temporarily disable a Cleaner Channel if needed.

The bot has a range of filters, including deleting messages sent by everyone, users, bots, images, embeds, links, and more. Here are some of the available filters:

  • all: Deletes messages sent by everyone
  • users: Deletes only messages sent by users
  • bots: Deletes only messages sent by bots
  • images: Deletes only messages that contain a image
  • embeds: Deletes only messages that contain a embed
  • links: Deletes only messages that contain links
  • specific-role: Deletes only messages that were sent by a member with a specific role
  • specific-link: Deletes only messages that contain a specific link
  • specific-text: Deletes only messages that contain a specific text

AutoDelete also has a Messages Timeout feature, which automatically deletes messages older than a specified time. This can be set between 10 seconds and 5 minutes.

The bot will also send a log message with the amount of deleted messages, a link to a list of deleted messages, and more, if you enable the LogChannel option.

Usage and Setup

To set up a Discord bot that deletes messages, you'll need to create a new "purged" channel where messages will automatically be deleted. This channel should be designated by an admin who has the MANAGE_MESSAGES permission.

The bot needs to be mentioned in the channel with a specific command to start it, such as "@AutoDelete start 100 24h". The number 100 in this command is the maximum number of live messages in the channel before the oldest is deleted.

The 24h in the command is the duration after which every message will be deleted, and you can specify units such as h for hours, m for minutes, or s for seconds. Make sure to use the bot's user mention, not the role alias.

To turn off the bot, simply say "@AutoDelete set 0" in the channel. If you need help or have questions, you can say "@AutoDelete help" for a quick reminder of the rules.

Auto Delete Options

Auto Delete is a minimalistic Discord bot that allows you to automatically delete messages after a specific time. You can use the @AutoDelete start command followed by the desired time parameter, such as 24h for 24 hours or 5m for 5 minutes.

You can choose which messages the bot is supposed to delete with the DeleteOnly Option, which has 8 options: all, users, bots, images, embeds, links, specific-role, specific-link, and specific-text.

The AutoDelete bot allows you to set a Messages Timeout, which means that it will automatically delete messages older than this timeout. The timeout cannot be below 10 Seconds or above 5 Minutes.

The bot also has a LogChannel option, in which the bot will send every action, including the amount of deleted messages, a link listing every message the bot deleted, and the applied filter.

You can also customize the type of message that has to be auto-deleted with EazyAutodelete, which allows you to choose from three delete modes: delete each message after a specific time, delete all the messages after a specific time interval, and delete all messages after a specific number of messages.
