Comcast has opened over 261,000 free Xfinity WiFi hotspots across Florida.
These hotspots are available to anyone within Comcast's coverage area, not just Xfinity customers.
You can find a map of public Xfinity WiFi hotspots at xfinity.com/wifi.
To access a hotspot, select the "xfinitywifi" network on your device's list of available networks, then launch a browser.
Sign-in options will appear for both Xfinity customers and non-customers.
Xfinity Internet customers can sign in with their account credentials and will automatically connect to any nearby Xfinity WiFi hotspots in the future.
Community members without an Xfinity account need to accept Terms and Conditions to access the network.
Comcast is positioning crews and equipment to respond immediately in the event of network damage.

Comcast is waiving overage charges for By the Gig Xfinity Mobile customers from Oct. 9 through Oct. 16, 2024.

In addition to the free hotspots, Comcast is also waiving overage charges for By the Gig Xfinity Mobile customers from October 9th through October 16th, 2024. This ensures that those impacted by Hurricane Milton can stay connected without worrying about additional fees for data usage.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has also launched a program called the Keep Americans Connected Pledge, in partnership with internet service providers. This program aims to open hotspots for free WiFi, waive late service fees, and prevent contract termination if customers aren't able to pay their bills at this time.
