You can't be in two Zoom meetings at once, at least not in the classical sense. Zoom's technical limitations make it difficult to participate in multiple meetings simultaneously.

Zoom's software is designed to prioritize one active meeting at a time, and attempting to join a second meeting while already in one will result in a prompt to end the current meeting.

However, there's a workaround that allows you to be in two Zoom meetings at once, but it requires some technical know-how and a bit of planning.

Joining Multiple Meetings

You can join multiple Zoom meetings at once, but it depends on your account type. Free users can't join multiple meetings simultaneously, but there are workarounds.

If you have a paid Zoom account, such as Education, Business, or Enterprise, you can enable the feature to join different meetings simultaneously on desktop. This means you can join two meetings at once, one from the desktop client and the other from the browser.

To join multiple meetings from your desktop, you'll need to verify that the 'Join different meetings simultaneously on desktop' option is enabled in your settings. If it's not, contact your system administrator to help you out.

You can also join multiple meetings at once using the Zoom joining page, by entering the meeting ID of the call you want to attend, and then joining the meeting from your browser.

However, if you're using a Zoom Workplace Pro account, you may need to check your license status to see if you have the necessary permissions to join multiple meetings at once.

Using Zoom Features

You can join multiple Zoom meetings at once, but it depends on your account type. If you have a free Zoom account, you can use hacks like joining meetings simultaneously on the Zoom Desktop Client and Zoom Web.

To enable this feature, you need a paid account, specifically Education, Business, or Enterprise. With a paid account, you can enable the 'Join different meetings simultaneously on desktop' option in your settings.

To join multiple meetings from your desktop, you'll need to launch the Zoom desktop client and join the first meeting as you normally would. Then, go to Zoom's joining page and enter the meeting ID of the second call you want to attend, and join it through the browser.

Join from Desktop

You can join multiple meetings from your desktop, but you'll need to enable the 'Join different meetings simultaneously on desktop' option, under the 'In Meeting(Basic)' section. This might require contacting your system administrator if it's not already enabled.

To join the first meeting, simply launch the Zoom desktop client and join as you normally would.

For the second meeting, you'll need to go to Zoom's joining page and enter the meeting ID of the call you want to attend.

You'll then be able to join the meeting through the browser, allowing you to appear in two Zoom sessions at once.

Duplicating the Desktop Client

Duplicating the Desktop Client is a clever way to access more features on Zoom. This method is perfect for those who want to join meetings as an unregistered participant, just like the first method.

To get started, you'll need to locate the file for your Zoom desktop app. This can be done by right-clicking on the existing Zoom icon on your desktop and selecting Open file location.

The file address will be saved into your clipboard by toggling Ctrl + C on your keyboard. Next, launch a text editing tool, such as Notepad or WordPad.

In the text editing tool, paste the copied address and type \zoom.exe /secondary at the end. This is a crucial step to create a duplicate client.

To run the new client, search for Run on your Start menu and launch it. Alternatively, you can toggle the Windows key + R on your keyboard.

Finally, paste the modified address to the textbox of Run and press the Enter key or click OK. Your second Zoom Desktop Client should be up and running.

Hosting from Your Account

You can host a Zoom meeting from your personal account, but there's a catch - you can only host one meeting at a time.

Zoom limits the number of meetings a host can be in to one, so if you try to join another meeting as the host, you'll be bumped out of the first one.

Some users might be able to host multiple meetings simultaneously if they have a paid plan, but it's not a guarantee.
