Blade Runner [Read More ...]
Description: When Ridley Scott's cut of Blade Runner was finally released in 1993, one had to wonder why the studio hadn't done it right the first time--11 years earlier. This version is so much better, mostly because of what's been eliminated (the ludicrous and redundant voice-over narration...
1492 - Conquest of Paradise (Widescreen Edition) [Read More ...]
Description: One of Ridley Scott's most wrong-headed films, this one (like all of his movies) looks fabulous and sounds utterly ridiculous, almost from the beginning. His first mistake was casting the wonderful Gerard Depardieu as Columbus and forcing him to speak English, which Depardieu doe...
The Alien Legacy (Widescreen Edition) [Read More ...]
Description: An interesting feature of Alien, Aliens, AlienĀ 3, and Alien Resurrection, worth watching together if only for the chance to see how different directors handle essentially the same idea. The results are decidedly mixed. Ridley Scott's Alien is the most traditional of the bunch,...

Alien (20th Anniversary Widescreen Edition) [Read More ...]
Description: A landmark of science fiction and horror, Alien arrived in 1979 between Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back as a stylishly malevolent alternative to George Lucas's space fantasy. Partially inspired by 1958's It! The Terror from Beyond Space, this instant classic set a tone ...
G.I. Jane (Widescreen Edition) [Read More ...]
Description: It seemed like a pretty good career move, and for the most part it was. Demi Moore will never top any rational list of great actresses, but as her career stalled in the mid-1990s she had enough internal fire and external physicality to be just right for her title role in G.I. Ja...
Thelma & Louise (Widescreen Edition) [Read More ...]
Description: Thelma & Louise is a feminist manifesto writ large on the big screen, a smart and funny gender reversal of the standard Hollywood buddy formula, a road movie extraordinaire, with characters who became instant cultural icons. No matter how you define it, Ridley Scott's 1991 box-of...
Harrison Ford Gift Set (Blade Runner, The Fugitive, Presumed Innocent) [Read More ...]
The original of Blade Runner is the best.:I prefer the original version of Blade Runner, the directors cut is confusing for new Sci Fi fans. It takes away one of the most important aspects of the movie, the Harrison Ford voice over which explains Dekkers thoughts and main plot details.
