this is a great movie. it's about Charles "Lucky" Luciano working his way up from the very beginning, through Prohibition, and all the way to the top. the movie stops after "Lucky" survives his 'One-Way-Ride'. A Must Buy Movie.[....]

This is not the Gangster Chronicles series. The original Gangster Wars was released on 2 VHS cassettes( part 1 and 2) this is not it. It is a cut down editors version and is a mess without any continuity and should not be sold as such.

I remember the original NBC tv series, as it started my love affair with gangster films. This movie has taken all of the "guts" from the mini series, leaving it complete flop in all regards.
