Great Assortment
The soundtrack is great- includes a few great bands with a few new, less known ones. Great flow from song to song and it doesn't scream- TWILIGHT SOUNDTRACK!- it's just a really great compilation.
I recommend buying it!
Twilight saga:New moon soundtrack
I love music, any kind of music. I loved the Twilight soundtrack and had it in my car CD player for at least 2 months. This soundtrack I listened to but was a little let down. I looked at Stephanie Meyers playlist & all the songs I thought were great didn't make it onto the soundtrack. I only really liked the first two songs on it. Figuring the amount of songs I actually listened to, I give it a FAIR.
Music from New Moon
All the music is wonderful. You go from the Death Cab for Cutie soft pop to England's philharmonic orchestra. It is awesome.
Absolutely Perfect!
I bought this cd right when it first came out and I have probably listened to it more than a hundred times since then. I'm not lying. I love the music on here and while at first a couple of the songs (specifically the last 5 or so) seemed a bit boring the first time I listened to it, they are now my favorites. I love every song on here and honestly this soundtrack is probably my favorite of all time. I usually don't like soundtracks because they are generally full of silly unoriginal songs with maybe one or two really good ones, but this soundtrack is amazing and the songs are all really unique. I bought the first twilight soundtrack though and enjoyed it so I took a chance on this one and it really paid off. I love every song and the soundtrack has actually inspired me to try listening to some of the bands on the soundtrack I hadn't ever bothered to listen to before like the Editors, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, etc. I think my two favorite songs are "White Demon Love Song" by the Killers, which I think is perfect for the movie and really sums up Bella and Edward's relationship, and "No Sound But the Wind" by the Editors. Both are amazing. Really though every song is great and I think they definitely fit with the overall tone of the movie. You should definitely buy this soundtrack, you won't be sorry.
GREAT soundtrack!
Some of the best, underestimated bands/musicians on one CD. Maybe it seems lame it being a soundtrack from a teeny bopper movie but really give it a chance!
