This is not just another remix album. All the songs of Hybrid Theory have been reinterpreted, plus 'High Voltage' and 'My December.' Just a few of the remixers/featured artists (since the list is so long) include Jay Gordon (Orgy), Evidence (Dilated Peoples), Aaron Lewis (Staind), Chali 2Na (Jurassic 5) & Black Thought (the Roots). Digipak. 2002.

Hybrid Theory
Hybrid Theory

It may be too cynical to assume Hybrid Theory changed its name to Linkin Park in order to appear right next to Limp Bizkit in your local record bin. But rock-rap workouts like "One Step Closer" and "Papercut" do make Linkin Park a comfortable fit with Fred Durst and his ilk. Prod...
Meteora
Meteora

Linkin Park's second studio effort (not counting the 2002 remix album Reanimation) overflows with glossy production values and Big Rock oomph, fully embracing the pop instincts of their Hybrid Theory debut. For many, Theory sounded inexcusably corporate, from its too-timely rap-r...
Minutes to Midnight
Minutes to Midnight

Minutes to Midnight stands to defend Linkin Park's status as the hardest-rockin' softies in mainstream music. Like its predecessors Hybrid Theory (2000) and Meteroa (2003), Minutes to Midnight flexes plenty of decibel-heavy muscle ("Given Up," "Bleed It Out," "No More Sorrow") an...
Collision Course (with DVD)
Collision Course (with DVD)

The first question everyone asks about Collision Course is "Is this album more Jay-Z or Linkin Park?" The wrong answer is that it's Jay-Z with a loud band or a back-and-forth of covers where one rearranges the other. The right answer is that this CD/DVD set is quite possibly one ...
Fallen
Fallen

The Daredevil soundtrack provided a nice boost for this previously unknown quartet from Little Rock, Arkansas. Evanescence's songs "My Immortal" and the imposing "Bring Me to Life" are clear standouts in the film, mainly because they work so well with the dramatic, eerie underton...
Live in Texas
Live in Texas

Recorded on the Dallas date of the 2003 Summer Sanitarium arena tour, with Metallica, Limp Bizkit, et. al, Live in Texas is a concise, no-frills two-disc DVD/CD souvenir of the muscular Linkin Park live experience. 5.1 Surround Sound captures every nuance of Brad Delson's explosi...
The Rising Tied
The Rising Tied

Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda steps out for a wall-to-wall hip-hop project on which he faces his critics ("High Road"), gets autobiographical ("Remember the Name"), shares family history ("Kenji") and emerges as a hip-hop reformist ("Cigarette"). Standing shoulder to shoulder with,...

Loaded with lyrics about nightmares, pain, isolation and broken relationships, One X, the sophomore effort from Three Days Grace should be a downright bummer of a ride. Instead, the listener manages to find uplift lurking beneath the weighty lyrics as the quartet churns out a ser...

Ten Thousand Fists
Ten Thousand Fists

On their third album, Disturbed don't as much break out of expected patterns as show their potential for doing so. Fans eager for more of the band's patented fist-thumping gruel will take satisfaction in the album's opening (and anthemic) title track, plus "I'm Alive" and "Forgiv...

Reviews:

Hybrid Theory Gets Gangsta?
I am actually one of those people who enjoy Linkin Park's music. I feel that their combination of nu-metal and rap works fairly well and has lead them to some great music. This, however, is a disgrace to anyone who enjoyed their music. The CD consists of their Hybrid Theory CD remixed with a few other tracks. The remixes are mostly horrible and are very annoying. They basically just took Hybrid Theory and turned it into a badly made Rap album. The new tracks aren't good either and I'd honestly consider them some of the worst of the disk. The few positives are that some of the songs like Crawling actually turned out very good. This CD lacks enough of these good songs to actually make this worth purchasing. Check out their new CD, Minutes to Midnight, if you want to hear real Linkin Park.

Another thing
WHY IS EVERYONE SEEMING TO HATE THIS ALBUM! These Remixes are awsome!! Sure some of it isn't that great; Stef, Chali, Riff Raff, X-Ecutioner Style. But for those of you few WHINERS who whine about everything you don't like and won't buy a CD just because a couple songs aren't good, why don't you save your money, buy an iPod and download the songs off Limewire or iTunes or whatever you would download songs with. So SHUT UP and downloads the songs you want and put them on your iPod and feel special about it.

AWSOME REMIXES
Opening - A good instrumental start for the album. Pts .of .Athrty - 8/10 Not much difference but a great remix! Enth E Nd - 9/10 My third favorite on the album. Very rap-styled. Chali - Just a phone call by Chali 2na to Mike Shinoda. Weird. Frgt/10 - 7/10 First one I ever heard. Very rap-styled, too. P5hng Me A*wy - 8/10 This is soft rock. But it's still good. Plc.4 Mie Haed - 9/10 Rap-styled. X-Ecutioner Style - 5/10 Contains profanity. And it's kinda dumb. H! Vltg3 - 10/10 Second favorite on this album. Everything is rapping. Riff Raff - Another one of those phone calls. Wth>You - 6/10 Second I heard. I don't like it too much. Ntr/Mssion - Kinda like the Opening. 29 sec. instrumental piece. PPr:Kut - 9/10 Fourth favorite on the album Rapping. Rnw@y - 7/10 I dunno. Not that good. My

Amazing Surround Mix
This is one of those DVD's that you put in your DVD player, crank the sound, then sit down and close your eyes. It will take you somewhere else. Chills will run down your spine, and you'll wonder how you ever listened to music in stereo. The stand out tracks are Krwlng, 1Stp Klosr, My{Dsmbr, and P5hng Me A*wy. If you have a surround system, are fan of Linkin Park, and want to hear something that you won;t forget. Buy this DVD-Audio disc.
