Q. I can play the DVD on my PC, but it doesn’t play in my DVD player?

A. Some DVD Players don’t read +R or –R media – some only read –RW or +RW media. Check http://www.dvdplusrw.org/resources/compatibilitylist_dvdvideo.html for information on which players have a good chance of working with your media.

Q. My movie plays fine up until I hit chapter “X” then it stops / starts playing the movie, etc., what can I do?

A. Make sure that the source disk is in ok condition, and that the target disk is an appropriate media type for your model of DVD burner.

Q. My picture is frozen on my screen, what can I Do?

A. Sometimes the picture will freeze (normally toward the end of disk one or two) Many times, using the fast forward, or the next chapter button will advance you to the next scene you wish to see.

Q. The disk starts in a sub menu when I insert it.

A. Sometimes DVD X Copy gets the “start location” off a little, normally, using the “ROOT MENU” button on your DVD player will return you to the menu and allow you to watch your back up per usual.
